Here is my story.
Born and raised in Kirkland, WA, my passion for woodworking was sparked while in middle school woodshop. After 30 years of working in the corporate world, I longed to work with wood again. I began woodworking as a hobby, igniting a zeal to pursue this endeavor fulltime. I took the leap to turn my passion into a business: Stedman Design, LLC.
The timber of every tree yields an intrinsic beauty that only Mother Nature can create. Whether designing and building custom furniture or refinishing a well-loved piece, my intent is to draw attention to the inherent beauty of the varying orientation and density of the wood grain – its’ intrinsic beauty! I work with clients to develop furnishings that add function and beauty to their homes.
